Peter M. Kooshoian

Peter Kooshoian is a lifelong resident of Buffalo, New York. He attended Canisius High School and then the University of Dayton, Ohio where he was a member of the History Honors Society. He attended the University of Buffalo Law School and competed as a member of the school’s trial team receiving the Robert J. Connelly Award for excellence in trial advocacy.

During law school, Mr. Kooshoian also worked for the City of Buffalo Corporation Counsel’s Office. During his employment at the Corporation Counsel’s Office, Mr. Kooshoian worked in the litigation department. He assisted in the representation of numerous police officers and other first responders in all areas of litigation.

Following law school, Mr. Kooshoian joined the Erie County District Attorney’s Office where he continued to work with police officers and other first responders on a daily basis. Mr. Kooshoian worked in the Felony Trial Bureau and successfully tried numerous felony-level cases to verdict. Mr. Kooshoian also remained involved with the University of Buffalo Law School as a Trial Team Coach where he taught law students trial advocacy skills.

After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Kooshoian joined the law firm Rosenthal, Siegel & Muenkel, LLP and continued to concentrate on trial work representing the seriously injured as well as those charged in State and Federal Court. Mr. Kooshoian has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. Mr. Kooshoian has also continued to advocate on behalf of first responders obtaining substantial recoveries for those injured in the line of duty as a result of another’s negligence.

Mr. Kooshoian is well respected throughout the community and receives many referrals from fellow attorneys and former clients. He is personally involved in each client’s case and is always available. Mr. Kooshoian understands the difficulties that can result from a serious injury and often travels to see clients throughout Western New York.

Mr. Kooshoian is admitted to practice law in both State and Federal Court. He is also a member of the Erie County Bar Association, Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association and Buffalo School Board Ethics Committee. Mr. Kooshoian has successfully argued cases at both the Trial and Appellate levels.
